Health check...
When your dog arrives at the salon they are first put onto the table and health checked. Here we check for lumps and bumps, knots and any other health issues that could affect the dog whist being groomed.
Bathing...
After the health check we are able to determine what type of shampoo to use, choosing from our wide range of natural products. But firstly they recieve their blueberry facial which not only cleans but relaxes them.
Drying...
Once they are all clean and rinsed they are towel dried. Then 'Happy hoodies' are used making it less stressful while they are dried. Dogs that find the drying process very uncomfortable are put into the cabinet dryer which circulates warm air drying the dog without any upset. This is also good for elder dogs that cannot stand for a long period of time. Dogs are brushed while being dried to untangle the coats and combed through to make sure all knots are gone so they are ready for styling.
Styling...
When they are all clean, dry and knot free we start styling, the trim would have been discussed with the owner when the dog arrived. Under the feet are clipped out short to prevent knots, nails are trimmed and ears are cleaned and plucked.
Finishing touches...
Dog are placed into holding crates which are veterinary approved while they wait to go home, Handmade bows are put onto collars and natural colognes are offered on departure.
